About the Role:

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world. To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are looking for a skilled Senior Developer to join our dynamic and innovative Engineering team. As a Senior Developer of the Frontend Enablement Services (FES) team, you will be working directly with Cloud Operations teams, Cloud Automation teams, and Product Development teams of All Sitecore Cloud offerings. You will be the primary driver to deliver the Customer enablement and Operations enablement services to our internal and external customers via ServiceNow based Sitecore self-service portals. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as active driver to securely implement and maintain customer enablement services such as Service Catalogs, Cloud Service Status, Cloud Service Consumption Report, Cloud Availability.
  • Act as active driver to securely implement and maintain operation enablement features such as Service Delivery, Incident Management, Change Management, Availability reporting.
  • Act as active driver to securely integrate Service Automation to improve the Service Delivery.
  • Act as active driver to securely integrate internal and external systems with Sitecore Self Service portals.
  • Participate in ServiceNow platform maintenance and upgrade activities.
  • Act as a proactive team member in development team to demonstrate high competency on team technology stack, Sitecore products, delivery process.

 

What You Need to Succeed  

  • Solid experience in software development with strong experience in JavaScript and ServiceNow Development.
  • Track record using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular.
  • Track record using PowerShell or any other scripting/programming language for automation tasks, ideally in a cloud environment.
  • Understanding of ITSM/CSM of ITIL Framework.
  • Good experience with version control system.
  • Good experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • Experience in programming principles such as SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI, clean code & refactoring.
  • Practical knowledge in Azure Cloud Services.
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum ceremonies best practices.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Advanced ServiceNow development and Update set based Release Management experience, Integrations with ServiceNow
  • Experience in using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode or equivalent.
  • Experience in C#, Asp.Net, SPA hands on development experience.
  • Experience with Continuous Deployment practices, Azure DevOps or Teamcity
  • Good knowledge of networking, web application architectures, micro-services and related technologies 
  • Good experience in SAFe principles
