About the Role:  

As Sitecore continues to grow we have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our team based in North America.   

This is a fast-paced role providing support to first line managers within specific assigned client groups, in North America and across the organization globally.  You will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR Generalist activities including performance management, absence management, annual merit and talent assessment processes, semi-annual bonus process, employee relations issues and local restructures.  Working closely with the global HR team you will implement strategic, operational, and tactical HR initiatives ensuring alignment in processes and strategies.    

We are looking for a candidate who can independently manage day-to-day generalist and employee relations issues and take part in global initiatives and projects.    

The role requires strong collaboration with our wider HR Teams including HR Operations/COE’s, HRBPs and Talent Acquisition.

What You’ll Do:  

As HR Generalist at Sitecore you will have the access to be involved in full cycle employee life cycle and key people agenda, i.e. talent management, performance management, career development, employee relations, workforce planning and change management, etc. As we continue to rapidly grow, you will also assist in building innovative new programs to assist your teams as they scale. Your work will have real-world impact on the employees you support.  


  • Executes on the strategic direction of HR, including implementation of high value-added HR processes that support Sitecore’s business goals and objectives  
  • Primary point of contact for first line managers across various functions and Trusted advisor for assigned client groups/functions  
  • Support offboarding process for all US and Canada terminations including conducting exit interviews as needed  
  • Administer and implement key performance management initiatives including goal setting, mid-year and annual-review process, and employment changes.   
  • Support various HR initiatives and projects including performance management, training and development, organizational development, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, leadership development, change management initiatives, talent assessment, and succession planning  
  • Facilitate resolution of Employee Relations issues, grievances, complaints and take disciplinary action   
  • Contribute to a positive culture and experience for the entire employee lifecycle, including actively participating in and presenting at monthly North America Cultural Onboarding sessions for new hires  
  • Work as part of the wider global HR team on, DEI, talent and culture initiatives    
  • Regularly use Workday and PowerBI to produce reports on various themes/areas including attrition, absences, PTO balance, compensation, and headcount, etc.    

What You Need to Succeed:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience  
  • Typically, minimum 5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist in a fast-packed environment including experience in performance management and employee relations  
  • Strong understanding and experience of US federal and State employment regulations as well as, Canadian employment law  
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including benefits, compensation, organizational design, training and development, talent assessment and succession planning.   
  • Experience delivering effective presentations and training material to a variety of audiences  
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth environment is essential
