About the Role/ The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for a proactive and motivated Cloud Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. As a member of the Cloud Automation APJ team, you will work directly with the production systems behind all Sitecore Cloud offerings. You will be responsible for streamlining and automating key operations required for end-to-end service delivery, including solution building, automation, and the development of continuous delivery pipelines to production. You will collaborate closely with Cloud Development teams and the entire Cloud Automation team to ensure that automation designs align with product features and real-world customer scenarios.
What You’ll Do:
- Actively contribute to developing, integrating, and monitoring solutions while ensuring high-quality feature delivery.
- Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure solutions are delivered frequently, consistently, and reliably to staging and production environments.
- Write high-quality automation code for features, bug fixes, and hotfixes in accordance with Sitecore guidelines.
- Contribute to the team’s test automation strategy and coverage, following software quality assurance best practices.
- Collaborate with and support QA in transitioning from manual testing to automated testing based on established test principles.
- Actively participate in automation activities in alignment with Sitecore processes.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Sitecore components to bridge the gap between business and technical aspects while promoting software quality assurance best practices throughout product development and maintenance.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience in DevOps Pipelines.
- Experience in Containerization technologies.
- Experience in Azure and/or AWS Cloud Technologies.
- Experience in software development & knowledge in test automation.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- Experience with infrastructure automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with monitoring technologies and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and business process management (BPM) applications is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proactive and able to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Possess strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
