Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world.  To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are looking for a Cloud Operation Engineer in our Cloud organization.  

  

Position Summary: 

As an associate in our Cloud Operations team, you will assist our global list of companies using Sitecore Cloud services and features to run mission-critical applications. You will work as a liaison between the engineering teams and company’ customers. You will also work directly with customers to provide the world class support that drives customer success. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor health of all Sitecore Cloud services and ensure support activities are completed within predefined SLAs with help of  OpsGenie and Service Now products 
  • Learn and implement the groundbreaking cloud technologies that power Sitecore Cloud (Azure PaaS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, etc)
  • Duly respond to outage or service level downgrade scenarios
  • Participate in brainstorms on developing service approaches in close cooperation with Sitecore technologists around the world Drive customer communication during critical events. 

  

Required qualification and experience: 

  • Strong knowledge of Azure KS , Azure PaaS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, etc
  • College degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  •  Strong communication skills 
  • Self-starter who is excited about technology
  • Customer support experience is desirable
  • Excellent English language skills (both spoken and written)
  • Excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflows and balance competing priorities
  • Sound understanding of IT industry context 

  

Desired Attributes: 

  • Experience troubleshooting applications and infrastructure in an enterprise environment 
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications  
  • Solid knowledge cloud services such as Azure, Aws, etc. 
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments.
