About the Role:

The individual will be a strategic thinker, energetic, creative, outgoing, and passionate about customer experience. As a Business Consultant, you can influence the development of our growing Business Consulting practice. You will work with our customers to understand their business and advise them on how the Sitecore product suite can meet their objectives. You will focus on value generation, using your knowledge of everyday marketing activities, marketing technology, best practices, and industry trends to make a profound impact on their success.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Contributing to the strategic direction and thought leadership of Sitecore’s Business Consulting practice.
  • Collecting information about the client’s business through a variety of methods (using their products, interviews, surveys, reading reports, etc.).
  • Understanding current state customer journeys – including pain points, gaps, and inconsistencies in experiences across channels – and how they differ by key customer segments.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client marketing and personalization using the Sitecore product suite and proving the value of those opportunities.
  • Formulating recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s business objectives, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Presenting findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice
  • Analyzing business value, estimating impact on customer relationships, identifying desired future functionality, and ensuring proper prioritization of strategic investments.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experienced as a business consultant, marketing consultant or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing. MBA highly beneficial.
  • Aptitude in creative problem-solving.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate and align stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience planning or executing marketing programs, including digital marketing, direct marketing, CRM, omni-channel marketing, or loyalty (experience with attribution a plus).
  • Solid understanding of the omni-channel personalization experience, including knowledge of how individual marketing channels should be leveraged to drive the overall experience.

 

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • Expertise in the marketing technology landscape.
  • Comfortable interpreting analytics and research and identifying meaningful insights.
  • History of building strong relationships with internal or external clients or partners and delivering successful outcomes.
