Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world.  To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are looking for a skilled IT Project Manager (PM) to work as part of our Global IT Department. 

 

The position can be based at Sitecore offices in Minneapolis, MN, Manchester, NH or Remote (USA).

 

Position Summary

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading complex and strategic IT projects to enable technology solutions and systems to meet department and enterprise-wide business needs. The IT PM will be responsible for creating comprehensive project plans, managing assigned global IT resources, project communication, and providing leadership in the successful delivery of assigned projects. They will be reporting to the IT Program Management Office (PMO) and will be expected to contribute to and participate in ongoing organizational governance and IT process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:  

  • Provide end-to-end project management for assigned projects
  • Provide leadership and direction in the analysis, selection, design, and implementation of solutions
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and other identified stakeholders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
  • Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues
  • Facilitate all operational activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mitigate risk utilizing contingency plans as necessary and manage through issue resolution
  • Manage team members to meet individual project assignments and project milestones
  • Conduct regular meetings with IT and business stakeholders to review project status and drive decision making
  • Manage vendor relationships within scope of project-specific work
  • Develop detailed cutover plan for Go-Live to ensure successful implementation
  • Carry out project closedown activities and transition to ongoing operational support
  • Contribute to and participate in ongoing IT organizational governance and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other IT-related area
  • 8+ years of progressive experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Skilled at leading project teams in either an Agile or Waterfall workflow environment
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Applications & Project Mgmt. tools (i.e. MS DevOps or Project, Jira)
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, executive management, and all levels of management to understand business needs, gather requirements and develop functional and business requirements
  • Excellent relationship-building and people skills, with an ability to develop strong and trustworthy relationships across multiple teams and end-users
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, even in ambiguous environments
  • Effective presentation, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Logical thinking and creative problem-solving ability
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to successfully multi-task
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Ability to make decisions independently
  • Proven experience managing a global team

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce or other CRM and Marketing application knowledge
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ or other CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) software
  • PMP Certification
