About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate, entrepreneurial professional with deep background in new logo sales and extensive experience selling e-commerce or digital marketing solutions to help grow our SaaS Digital Experience technologies – across our 3 pillars of Content / Experience / Commerce.

The individual needs to be independent, partner focused and able to take consultative approach in presenting the Sitecore SaaS solutions to technical and business audience.

The Sales Specialist will respond to inbound and outbound leads, RFPs, client requests, demos, participate in marketing and customer events and perform all activities needed to successfully close new business. 

The successful individual will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales for Sitecore Composable DXP.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive New Logo SaaS Sales and Booking Revenue within your territory to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly targets
  • Engage customers and partners for discussions for the fit of the Sitecore solutions
  • Work with Pre-sales Engineers to build demos/Proof-Of-Concept
  • Work with Product Marketing to build up relevant Go To Market message to the prospects/partners
  • Disciplined sales process administration and communication
  • Spotting market opportunities for new customer acquisitions
  • Manage and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders (partners, consultants...)
  • Be an expert at targeting, approaching, finding new contacts, and showcasing the Sitecore SaaS solutions
  • Follow up on marketing qualified leads
  • Keep all Administration up to date (i.e., CRM and expenses)
  • Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences.
  • Be a great team player with your colleagues in other departments or offices

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Comfortable with accountability of specific sales targets
  • Superior communication skills, ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to engage in discussions around revenue growth, ROI and TCO with business decision makers (usually C-Level or SVP/VP)
  • Ability to engage with marketing professionals (Director level or below) who are concerned with optimizing customer experience, next best action and revenue generation
  • Ability to convey technical benefits to IT audience who are concerned with solution fit and integration into existing solution ecosystem.
  • Results oriented; committed to quality of product and service
  • Ability to work in (virtual) teams and committed to never letting a teammate down
  • Self-motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
  • Ability to think conceptually on the fly
  • Adaptive to change, having comfort in fast-changing technology environment
  • Always looking to raise the bar of own skills/competencies

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

  • 5+ years’ experience selling eCommerce, DAM, MRM, CDP, Decisioning, Optimization or Personalization Technologies to blue chip companies
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a continuously evolving product
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
