About the Role:
Sitecore is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales to lead our Mid-Market Account Executive team in the East region. This leader will play a pivotal role in driving customer growth and retention by focusing on account expansion, upselling, cross-selling, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. The RVP will ensure customers realize the full value of Sitecore’s solutions while achieving regional revenue and growth objectives. This role reports directly to the AVP of Americas Sales.
 
What You’ll Do:  
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Mid-Market sales team focused on expansion and retention.
  • Build strategies that drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities across existing customer accounts.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Solutions teams to maximize customer adoption, satisfaction, and lifetime value.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings to support major expansion opportunities and strategic accounts.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent to strengthen the team and scale regional performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to develop sales acumen, account planning, and value-based selling skills.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Track team performance against retention, growth, and expansion goals, while ensuring customer health metrics remain strong.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer engagement campaigns and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships within customer organizations to reinforce Sitecore as a trusted partner.
  • Manage escalations with urgency and professionalism to ensure a positive customer experience.
What You Need to Succeed  
  • 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience in SaaS; Martech experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading Account Executives and consistently achieving or exceeding team quotas.
  • Strong executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of coaching teams to close complex, high-value deals.
  • Consultative selling expertise and experience leveraging proven sales methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and influence across teams.
  • Competitive drive with a passion for winning and delivering results.
  • Trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal colleagues, with strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
