About the Role:
To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are looking for a skilled Senior Developer to work as part of our Product Development department. You will help in designing and building scaled, multi-tenant and high-performance product features while working with other experienced engineering team members in delivering high quality releases, improving solution robustness and performance/scalability.
What you’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain high-quality code and automated test scripts for features and bug fixes in accordance with Sitecore guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews, with a focus on high-quality code, testability and automation efficiency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous solution delivery to the production environment and integrating automated testing frameworks.
- Actively demonstrate software engineering best practices throughout product development and maintenance.
- Maintain close collaboration and effective communication with Engineering Manager, Product Owner, Lead Developer, QA, team members and other stakeholders.
- Understand the business requirements and develop software solutions to ensure the requirements are met.
- Translate business requirements into automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to iterative development cycles.
What you need to Succeed:
- Good experience in object-oriented programming C#.NET, automation scripting and test development.
- Experience in working with version control system: Git and branching strategy.
- Experience in database: relational or NoSQL.
- Experience in CI/CD development environments.
- Good experience in implementing unit tests, integration tests and and end to end testing: NUnit, XUnit, etc.
- Good experience in using development tools: Visual Studio, VSCode, Resharper, GitHub Copilot or equivalent; Solid working experience in the development and testing of REST web services.
- Good knowledge of programming principles: SOLID, clean code & refactoring.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with GitHub Actions development, GitHub Workflows.
- Experience with messaging systems aka Confluent Kafka.
- Experience in optimizing software performance using profiling tools, load and performance testing tools, Cloud, and static code analysis tools.
Additional Skills that Could set you apart:
- Proactive attitude and solution minded.
- Outside of the box thinker with strong critical thinking skills.
- Experience in Azure Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience in Postman is a plus.
- Exposure to microservices and cloud-native testing strategies.
- Working experience in a SaaS based company or project is a plus.
