About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced retail vertical expert to provide thought leadership for our customers in the retail industry.
You will be responsible for interacting with the customer to present best practices inside and outside of verticals, lead transformation workshops, consult with customers 1:1 around best practices and how to extract the most business value from our products. This role will partner with Value Engineering to develop strong business ROI cases. The role will also work in partnership with AE’s to develop strategic account plans across our top 500 customers. Additionally, you will represent Sitecore at Industry events and conferences and be responsible for creating external materials.
In this role you will perform a variety of duties and tasks, and to succeed you’ll need to communicate well and multi-task under tight deadlines. Your goal will be to ensure that our relationships with customers are strong, profitable and enduring.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Develop strategic relationships with our customers at the executive level
  • Engage with AEs to accelerate their thinking and develop strategic account plans
  • Deliver thought leadership across assigned industry
  • Lead internal industry cohorts
  • Create internal POVs and materials that can be scaled across the organization
  • Work with Partners to share industry information, co-present and represent Sitecore
  • Lead customer Transformation workshops
  • Collaborate positively and effectively with all members of the Sales and cross functional teams
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
 
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Proven experience as a vertical expert or digital marketing retail customer experience
  • Background of facilitating workshops
  • Proven ability to present on stage to large audiences
  • Excellent communicator, specifically with C-Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-managed, strong work ethic, responsive and customer-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Sharp business acumen
