About the Role/ The Opportunity:

Sitecore is growing and so our Email Deliverability Department! 

Email Deliverability is our number one priority for our clients and our new Sitecore Send product.

As a deliverability specialist, you will have to proceed on technical investigations into clients' email systems, review messages sent by our users, and make recommendations based on analyzing messages, client's methods, statistics, and strategies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collecting data from customers related to email delivery.
  • Reviewing data of email delivery analysis.
  • Educating clients about best practices related to email sending, address collection, list management, and other email program issues.
  • Making clear recommendations and explaining potential risks to clients.
  • Generating and reviewing reports related to deliverability metrics such as bounce rates, complaints, unsubscribe rates etc.
  • Consult internally and externally for our client’s brands on list hygiene recommendations, email deliverability best practices, IP, and domain warming strategy.
  • Investigating and addressing email delivery problems by engaging directly with relevant ISP abuse desks, email blacklists, and anti-spam technology providers.
  • Participating in industry discussions and staying current on trends and policies.
  • Monitor email platform delivery reports and alerts, and troubleshoot and remediate when needed
  • Review SMTP bounce logs and report on the volume of potential issues

What You Need to Succeed

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, client-facing consulting skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the major ISPs/providers
  • Experience with DNS (SPF, DMARC, BIMI)
  • FBL signups, whitelisting, email block resolution
  • Ability to do independent research online and apply findings to client work
  • Innovative thinker who can formulate conclusions having both the email sender and receiver in mind
  • Experience with Return Path/ FBL/ SNDS/Google's postmaster tool
  • Data analysis and presentation
  • Experience on SMTP bounce logs
  • Working knowledge of SQL concepts a plus
