On June 17, 2020, SiriusXM acquired a leading podcast hosting, distribution, and analytics platform in Simplecast. Since this acquisition, AdsWizz has worked closely with Simplecast to provide a truly end-to-end podcast solution, powering the industry’s most electric podcast publishers, including The New York Times, Univision, NBC, Politico, QCODE, Maximum Fun, and Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert to name a few.


We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our Podcasts division and play a critical role in sourcing and qualifying new publishers onto our platform. You will partner with members of our Business Development Team to serve as our eyes and ears in the market, contributing to our continued growth in this emerging and dynamic industry. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be expected to stay informed on industry trends, proactively generate new opportunities for our sales team — while consistently meeting or exceeding your monthly goals.


This position is based in either New York, NY, or San Mateo, CA. The role reports to the Director, Business Development, Podcasts.


Your Mission
  • Prospect via call, email, and social strategies
  • Consistently generate qualified opportunities to achieve pipeline targets and drive revenue growth
  • Align with our Business Development Team to target companies within specific industries
  • Become comfortable verbally delivering our Enterprise product offerings to a wide range of potential publishers
  • Conduct lead follow-up activity based on marketing events and website inquiries
  • Lead creative strategies and target decision-makers
  • Stay up-to-date in the podcast publishing landscape and demonstrate our platform value
  • Automate repetitive tasks whenever possible
  • Track all activity in CRM (HubSpot)

You Have
  • 1-2 years of experience in an enterprise sales or business development role
  • SaaS experience preferred; content management tools or advertising technologies highly desirable
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, goal-orientated, and customer-centric
  • You're highly skilled in using various prospecting strategies to accomplish your goals
  • Experience working with or qualifying small-to-medium-sized enterprise clients preferred
  • CRM experience (preferably Hubspot)
