Position Summary:

SiriusXM's Digital Experience group is seeking an experienced, confident Digital Solutions Architect who specializes in Analytics Implementation, Personalization, A/B Testing, Digital Data Layer, Client side vendor integrations to assist in the design and development for key customer-facing websites.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of and passion to come up with creative solutions to solve problems within the Digital Experience and possess hands-on JavaScript, HTML, CSS and APIs knowledge, as well as a solid understanding of basic A/B testing principles, analytics implementation, personalization and marketing pixel deployment.

The candidate must be able to establish relationships and work with product owners, project managers, and development leads at all levels without supervision.

  • You must be able to articulate problem statements and openly bring up challenges, roadblocks and impediments to the architecture management team.
  • Negotiate, influence and drive solutions with product owners and for tactical and strategic enterprise architecture approach and business capabilities.
  • Develops, delivers and communicates solution architecture artifacts for implementation and execution of business and IT-driven initiatives from ideation through roll out in the areas of Analytics Implementation, AB Testing, and client-side vendor integrations such as chat.
  • Work  closely with development teams to ensure architectural patterns are properly applied and to identify and address technical debt quickly.
  • Provides technical and solution leadership in delivering architecture artifacts that promote reusability, modularity and scalability.
  • Develops solutions to complex enterprise problems that increase enterprise agility, system and process efficiencies.
  • Tracks industry trends and leverages them to drive innovation and solution excellence
  • Demonstrates business acumen to drive the right priorities.
  • Drives work towards target architecture plans and incremental progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow Architects within the Digital Experience Architecture team to develop Solutions for complex business problems focusing on Analytics, A/B Testing, Personalization, and third party client side integrations
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, vendor technical teams to understand requirements, explore solutions and recommend best options with in-depth analysis
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to optimize development workflow, develop best practices in both technology and business process
  • Work closely with application developers to ensure proper implementation of proposed architecture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Analysis and Architecture of Analytics Implementation, A/B Testing and Personalization/Targeting solutions with hands-on writing JavaScript

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Advanced JavaScript knowledge
    • Core JavaScript concepts (primitives, data structures, scope, closure, hoisting)
    • Event loop, task/microtask queue, call stack
    • Asynchronous programming concepts (callbacks, promises)
    • Functional programming concepts (array functions, recursion)
    • Mutation observers
    • ES2015/ES6 principles (let/const, arrow functions, rest/spread params, template literals, destructuring, classes, modules)
  • Analytics Implementation Experience (Adobe Analytics), Experience using Tag Management tools  (Launch/DTM, GTM, Tealium, etc.) to speed up deployment
  • A/B Testing Solutioning and Development experience
  • Development of A/B testing, analytics, and personalization solutions in SPA applications (Angular preferred).
  • Experience implementing or using a marketing data layer
    • W3C CEDDL spec vs. event-driven
  • Experience with other Adobe Experience Cloud products
