THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Digital Content Marketing group is expanding to support the continued acquisition of new subscribers with more content offerings to showcase than ever before.

We are looking for a strong Digital Content Producer who has an obsession with music across genres and stays up to date with pop culture and emerging social platforms. The ideal candidate has excellent editorial judgment, a constant flow of ideas for engaging content, a keen eye for detail and an appreciation for good creative. They are a self-starter who gets excited at the chance to run production end-to-end. 

The Digital Content Producer directs, organizes, and produces digital content highlighting SiriusXM music channels, events, and partnerships for distribution across the digital ecosystem. This position works cross-departmentally to organize and manage content capture and social media coverage of talent visits to SiriusXM's studios (or via Zoom), off-site events across the country, and other special events, launches and programs. 

The Digital Content Producer also creates assets such as graphics, audiograms and blog posts for distribution across various platforms, including SXM brand social channels, partner platforms, and the company's weekly newsletter. 

This role works collaboratively with other Producers as well as the Video Marketing and Social Media teams to execute digital exclusive franchises. 

Sitting within the Marketing side of the organization, the Digital Content Producer helps manage the editorial calendar for digital marketing as it relates to our company’s music initiatives. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Works across Programming, Talent, PR, Marketing and Engineering departments to produce engaging and original digital content
  • Attends live interviews/events/festivals/performances (onsite and offsite) for content capture opportunities
  • Conceptualizes and executes original content franchises for our branded distribution platforms
  • Uses editorial judgement to identify moments in interviews and performances to clip for promotion
  • Organizes and aligns content distribution strategy with SiriusXM + Pandora’s social media teams, partners and hosts while ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Facilitates asset requests and approval of content
  • Attends weekly meetings with Programming and shares relevant info from the Digital Content team, including metrics reports
  • Contributes to YouTube Strategy with playlist concepts and backend optimization
  • Serves as primary producer and/or editor on video projects when needed
  • Transcribes and caption audiograms and videos as needed
  • Versions out graphics via templates and creates bespoke graphics as needed

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with focus on marketing or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in media, marketing, entertainment or PR industry
  • Social media expertise with an understanding of best practices
  • Strong video editing, photography and graphic design skills
  • Experience working with high-profile campaigns and clients a plus
  • Strong interest and knowledge of music across genres

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premiere, InDesign, Audacity
  • Experienced in Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • WordPress and CMS experience a plus
