Position Summary:

Identify, pursue and win incremental CV OEM business with direct accountability to achieve both significant revenue and new deal targets.  Lead and engage the account teams in identifying sizeable pipeline and achieving pipeline targets.  Lead client engagement through the sales process in partnership with the account team, product, finance, and engineering groups - personally presenting SXMCV products and solutions to compel and drive new business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and securing revenue growth within assigned solution and OEMs
  • Meet and achieve revenue and margin growth targets
  • Partner collaboratively with Account sales teams, engineering and product groups, CSEs
  • Primary owner responsible to create customer facing business development content including product and solution presentations, formal proposals and RFX leadership, business model creation and finance approval
  • Heavily engaged in and presenting to client in support of new business
  • Strong business and technical acumen adequate to present technical solutions in a compelling way to business and technical audience leveraging product teams for additional expertise
  • Proven ability to win new business in a subscription model with multi-year large deal contracts

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Business or technology undergraduate degree, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years technical and solution sales or pre-sales background in complex technology with demonstrated win record
  • OEM experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Telematics or telecom experience preferred but not required

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Ability to lead a matrix team in creation of value proposition/proposals $10-$200M in value
  • Ability to create, with finance support, multi-year recurring revenue financial models
  • Ability to present to executive client leadership spanning Director/VP/SVP/CXO levels with compelling and persuasive content
  • Proven ability to navigate in the OEM market
  • Proven sales ability with commensurate win record
  • Ability to create and expand pipeline for assigned area
  • Create and deliver professional and technical content in the format of client facing proposals and deals
  • Negotiate and close contracts supporting in scope deals, successfully navigating client and SXM stakeholder and approvals
  • Self-driven, high level of motivation and results orientation
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Extensive travel likely to be required in a post COVID environment

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
