Position Summary:

SXM Media's Sales Marketing team is seeking an experienced multicultural marketing expert to help drive audio market share and business growth. Our ideal candidate is strategic, creative, and passionate about delivering the right message to the right audience in the right context, with a wealth of knowledge of Latinx, Black, and Asian American audience trends.

As the Marketing Manager – Multicultural Audiences, you will develop SXM Media’s multicultural marketing strategy and execution across the sales organization. A skilled writer, storyteller, and communicator, you will not only create scalable, insight-based marketing materials that articulate the value of SXM Media but also deliver them via speaking engagements, blogs and articles, executive presentations, and conference sponsorships. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute high-impact B2B marketing strategies, ensuring all marketing plans and activities align with our overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with sales research on the development of proprietary listener studies that help uncover ground-breaking audience insights.
  • Create inspirational narratives, thought leadership pieces, and compelling sales marketing collateral (i.e., narratives, one-sheets, webinars, white papers, infographics, vertical trade sponsorships, etc.)
  • Work with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to support the production and amplification of sales marketing materials.
  • Work closely with Industry Marketing and Event Leads on the development of multicultural event strategies.
  • Present at small and large-scale environments, including internal meetings, agency and client meetings, conferences, and owned and operated events.
  • Write for internal and external channels, including internal newsletters,, and industry trade partners.
  • Engage Multicultural sales team to ensure marketing plan, training, and enablement materials meet real-time needs/demands.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to uncover new opportunities for multicultural advertisers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a B2B marketing, consumer marketing, or media agency role.
  • Experience leading multicultural marketing efforts, with a strong understanding of the multicultural media and consumer landscape.
  • Experience analyzing and distilling research data into actionable insights. 
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Creative writing ability.
  • Spanish language proficiency in reading, writing, and grammar  
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with media industry reporting tools: MRI/Simmons and Comscore.
