Who We Are Looking For:

AdsWizz is growing rapidly and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager in our San Mateo or New York office. In this role, you will drive new business development efforts to grow revenue for AdsWizz’s streaming audio and podcast marketplace. As part of a growing organization, it will be essential that you are a team-player and become a dependable resource within the AdsWizz Demand Team while working collaboratively and communicating clearly across internal stakeholders across Publisher Development, Legal, Product, Technical and Marketing teams. This client facing role will require you to be strategic, innovative, analytical, and professional.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to grow AdsWizz’s network of Marketplace sales partners for our streaming audio and podcast marketplace
  • Lead the entire process from sourcing and prospecting new partners, modeling revenue opportunities, and contract negotiations to secure new Marketplace sales partners
  • Work with Marketing to build effective sales materials to support new business development efforts
  • Identify and communicate internally new market requirements through translating customer needs and gathering an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and business priorities
  • Serve as an advocate for Marketplace sales partners and identify areas for growth based on market feedback
  • Oversee new partner implementation with operational support from Technical Account Manager and Operations team
  • Maintain service excellence through effective communication and timely issue resolution with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Travel and engage with potential new partners in innovative ways that foster engagement and interest in the AdsWizz Marketplace and technology offering

You Have:

  • 4+ years business development experience in an online/digital environment with proven track record closing deals with senior level executives
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, Exchanges, DMPs, etc.)
  • Strong background and experience negotiating and renewing contracts and amendments
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with a high level of comfort presenting to clients both in person and in a virtual environment
  • Strong time management, organizational, technical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in both collaborative and independent settings while remaining responsible, enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field/ discipline
