Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for a world-class marketer to accelerate subscriber growth for its Connected Vehicle Business. This role will oversee the go-to-market strategies for the consumer purchase funnel and will be responsible for delivering recommendations for all key performance indicators including enrollment, service usage, conversion, retention and churn management. 

This leader thrives in translating data into actionable recommendations, serving as the subject matter expert for program performance and implementing multi-channel acquisition strategies in partnership with a leading automotive manufacturer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assume ownership of multi-channel acquisition plans to drive enrollment, service usage, subscription conversions, upsells, renewals, and win-backs for Connected Vehicle (CV) Services.
  • Oversee the strategy, execution, optimization, and analysis of a personalized customer lifecycle through multi-channel marketing programs that include email, direct mail, SMS, push notifications, and more.
  • Serve as the SME for program KPI growth and consistently provide recommendations for performance optimization and enhancement.
  • Guide the discovery of meaningful consumer insights and build a narrative of growth through close partnership with the Marketing Analytics team.
  • Ensure that business strategy and requirements are properly translated into initiatives that will meet and/or exceed business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for building rapport and managing the relationship with key OEM partners in order to execute recommended strategies.
  • Drive paid subscriber adoption through the development of pricing and packaging recommendations and set priority and oversee implementation of promotional offerings.
  • Serve as Marketing Advisor to specified OEM(s) with key functional responsibility for customer engagement, subscriber acquisition and retention initiatives. 
  • Ensure proper management of the end-to-end campaign process including campaign design, planning, measurement, approvals (internal and external) and execution.
  • Execute and manage multiple, simultaneous projects within budget, on-schedule, and within quality standards.
  • Assist with the development of the functional marketing requirements for product standup.
  • Maximize results for campaign strategy through implementation of A/B testing and coordinate with Marketing Analytics to ensure appropriate campaign tracking, and reporting.
  • Meets with internal strategic marketing managers and external clients to understand segment and channel needs.
  • Proactively evaluates customer and partner needs using research tools to identify market conditions and new technologies to support marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Work with cross functional teams, such as IT, account teams, finance, and operations as well as outside vendors to successfully launch and manage programs.
  • Assist in managing budgets for marketing spend across tactics and partner with Finance and Accounting teams on budget process.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with emphasis in customer lifecycle strategy, subscription management, acquisition marketing and/or strategic consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience in creating and executing channel marketing plans and programs, managing and forecasting fulfillment budgets and subscription marketing or marketing technology to the consumer is required.
  • Experience driving business strategy with data, developing frameworks, surfacing insights.

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Analytically minded, data savvy and naturally curious to find customer insights that will provide measurable growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on program marketing performance and regularly exhibit thought leadership on the latest marketing trends.
  • Translate complex data and analytical models into insights that can be used to develop marketing strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that promote team partnership and respectfully encourage new thinking.
  • Ability to communicate complicated marketing and business analysis information with Leadership.
  • Ability to establish rapport, credibility and positive working relationship with all stakeholders including suppliers, cross functional team members and clients at all organizational levels.
  • Must have excellent follow-through, be able to work with minimal direction, and balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders within an organization.
  • Knowledgeable in "best practices" in campaign development to optimize efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Desire to function as both strategic marketer and also orchestrate tactical components of integrated marketing campaigns. Ability to balance strategic and tactical objectives within available budget.
  • Exhibit excellent project management skills.
  • Proven leadership, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Flexible and able to react to quickly changing needs.
  • Strong working knowledge of Email, Direct Mail, Web development, SMS, Push, social and call/contact centers.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as SFMC or Siebel is a plus.
  • Experience with email platforms like SFMC is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: French and/or Spanish is a plus.
