Position Summary:

The Brand Marketing Manager will drive brand and integrated marketing strategy on our most critical goal of driving cultural relevance for the Pandora brand. The Brand Marketing Manager will comfortably balance the art and science of marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end management of Pandora brand campaigns, from briefing to launch and reporting (e.g. launching Pandora’s brand positioning, Holiday campaigns, etc.)
  • Define creative and brand positioning of Pandora’s integrated marketing campaigns. Support campaign management from ideation to execution.
  • Develop campaign briefs for Creative and Media teams that tie back to business goals and insights.
  • Work collaboratively with creatives, marketing channel owners, media planners, product, artist relations and other internal stakeholders to drive channel-specific programs.
  • Lead strategy and buying of Pandora’s brand media efforts, including management of annual brand budget and billing/invoicing. Primary contact for day-to-day media agency relations and operations.
  • Oversee Pandora Brand’s in-house paid social strategy and buying team, including campaign budgeting, execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Build campaign measurement plans in conjunction with Analytics & Consumer Insights, including brand lift studies, conversion tracking, and media mix models. Prepare reports, develop insights, and apply to future campaigns.
  • Manage Pandora’s high-profile out-of-home advertising (e.g. Times Square billboard), coordinating rotation of new creative and daily media operations with billboard company.
  • Revitalize Pandora’s overarching brand positioning and brand voice through research, creative development and audience testing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Initially none but the goal is to have a direct report for this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, and/or equivalent, relevant experience. 
  • 4+ years in a Brand Marketing role

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Experience working with (or within) media and creative teams/agencies.
  • Experience setting up paid social advertising campaigns, e.g. on Facebook Ads Manager
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Creative writing ability. 
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of Google Workspace suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets for reporting and basic Excel/Sheet functions (e.g. pivot tables)
  • Experience using Tableau or other data analytics platforms preferred.
