Join Our Team  

We are seeking a smart, dynamic and enthusiastic professional with a demonstrated passion for sustainability project management, benchmarking and ratings assessments, and legal operations management to support SiriusPoint’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy and reporting, and legal operations.  You will report to the VP and Associate General Counsel, Securities and Corporate Governance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor sustainability trends and assess the implications for SiriusPoint’s business strategy
  • Organize and manage Sustainability and ESG materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement reviews
  • Work cross-functionally to write, and manage preparation of sustainability disclosures including a sustainability report and required regulatory disclosures in the insurance industry in coordination with the ESG Council members, and drive and monitor progress and completion
  • Review peer disclosures and formulate recommendations on how to enhance SiriusPoint’s sustainability and ESG communications
  • Review requirements for and complete ESG rating submissions (e.g. CDP)
  • Engage with ESG rating agencies to capture and analyze ratings and feedback (e.g. MSCI, ISS)
  • Write, edit and produce Q&A documents, talking points, presentations and other materials to support Legal, Investor Relations to update the Executive Leadership Team and Board
  • Work with international offices to collect information on and promote ESG initiatives
  • Review requirements for non-financial data and engage with Business Units and Corporate functions to effectively collate data to strengthen our reporting and engagement
  • Support the assurance process of non-financial data (e.g. GHG emissions)
  • Handle other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and expertise in one or more of the following: basic accounting and budgeting, legal and business operations. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is required. 
  • Familiarity with legal and ESG solutions such as Diligent and Wdesk is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are integral to this role.

SALARY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $96,000 per year to $125,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only.  In determining the actual salary within this range, SiriusPoint will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.
