Your role
Your role will be Regulatory Assurance Officer for our European operation, based in London.
In this role, you will be working closely with the Head of Regulatory Operations to support the business in meeting regulatory requirements and achieving satisfactory business and client outcomes. The role’s focus is on assurance activities such as supporting and monitoring the implementation of regulatory requirements. You will report to the Head of Regulatory Operations placed in Stockholm, who reports to the Deputy CEO for SiriusPoint International, with a dotted line to the General Manager of the UK branch of SiriusPoint International.
Your key responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing defined tasks or project activities related to introducing new regulatory requirements affecting our European operation. Current examples are tasks associated with; the implementation and assurance of relevant oversight of compliance with the UK regulation; Operational Resilience, and the EU regulation; Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
- Work alongside the Head of Regulatory Operations to establish and maintain a robust oversight of the framework defined for operational resilience.
- Support mapping and documenting critical functions, related processes, and assets to ensure the operation’s digital resilience is in line with defined risk tolerances and internal & external requirements.
- Support maintenance and testing of the local business continuity plans, including planning and execution of recurring exercises.
- Build and maintain collaborative, mutually beneficial partnerships with key internal stakeholders. The main stakeholders are managers throughout the business and IT operations, Legal & Compliance, and Risk Management teams.

Your skills and abilities should include:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-3 years of work experience in implementing new or modified processes within a financial services organisation – ideally (Re)Insurance.
- Interest in the (re)insurance industry and an understanding of the evolving regulatory environment and its impact.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting insurance companies, such as Solvency II, DORA, and Operational Resilience is an advantage.
- Experience in a project-driven environment, with a keen ambition to refine and develop project management skills
- A process-focused and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify, address, and resolve issues that may arise across various aspects.
- Great communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office especially for presenting and communicating – use of AI and other tools will be a big advantage
