Join Our Team  

We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support our growth plans and ambition to build out a best-in-class pricing function. The role will report to the Senior Pricing Actuary and sits within the International Pricing & Planning team as part of the CUO Office.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Senior Pricing Actuary and wider pricing team in the analysis and pricing of insurance and reinsurance products across multiple lines of business.
• Gathering, cleaning, and analysing large datasets to support portfolio steering, deal evaluation, and performance monitoring activities.
• Supporting the Senior Pricing Actuary and Head of Pricing, International in making recommendations about whether to give pricing sign-off on prospective partnerships to the Deal & Portfolio Committee.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of pricing tools, processes, and documentation.
• Participating in the monitoring of key accounts and supporting regular performance reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Supporting the production of planning materials, including loss ratio setting and analysis of key drivers such as loss trends and inflation.
• Collaborating with colleagues across actuarial, underwriting, and other business functions to deliver high-quality insights and contribute to cross-functional projects.
• Engaging in peer review processes and seeking feedback to develop your technical and professional skills.
• Demonstrating a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement, in line with SiriusPoint’s values of integrity, customer focus, solution-driven thinking, diversity, and collaboration.

Your skills and abilities should include:

• Progress towards actuarial qualification: 1-3 years of experience/3-6 exams passed.
• Pricing experience advantageous but candidates meeting the other criteria who have no pricing experience will be considered: We are open to discipline and domain changes e.g. personal lines, reserving or life/pensions
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Power BI and experience in a coding language (SQL, Python) desirable
• Curious and open-minded with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn new skills
• High attention to detail
• Enjoys solving problems
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
