Join Our Team

You will be Data Analyst. You will report to the Head of Claims Analytics with reporting lines to the Chief Legacy Officer.

The Data Analyst is responsible for sourcing, organizing, cleansing and optimizing data to help drive strategic decisions and work activities for the Claims & Legacy team. This role requires working with multiple sources of data to meet both internal reporting requirements and support new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation, configuration and administration of analytic tools, the development and use of databases, data marts, reports, dashboards and the interpretation of data and analysis results using statistical techniques.
  • Provide essential data support and analysis for various business initiatives.
  • Research, analyse, validate, and prepare data for use in monitoring and reporting, strategy support, and special projects.
  • Projects range from simple programming and basic data manipulation/analysis to more advanced techniques and analytics.
  • Access data, write queries, create dashboards, run reports, manipulate, and analyse large datasets to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Presenting analytical findings in a variety of formats (reports, PowerPoint, Tableau, graphs, figures, and tables), formulating recommendations, and effectively present results to non-analytic audiences.

 

Technical Skill and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, analytics, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field. Master's degree in analytics, data science or related field preferred.
  • Work experience in actuarial and financial data analysis or business intelligence experience.
  • Programming skills such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau and similar are necessary for this role.
  • Broad knowledge of data warehouses, data marts and business intelligence solutions is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving (including statement of problem, identification and collection of pertinent data, analysis, recommendation, and revaluation) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent cross-border projects within team setting to achieve outcomes.
  • Must possess strong ability to perform route cause analysis and communicate findings in actionable manner. 
  • Strong analytical thinking to breakdown complex problems and a strong will to get things done and deliver accurate results.
  • Problem solver, detail oriented and strong analytical skills required.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs.
  • Experience with analytics reporting and data interpretation/presentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications Skills required.
