Job Description: is looking for a Director of Test and Product Engineering to bring up and lead the team, responsible for PE/TE activities to support company MLSoCTM IC roadmap from NPI to mass production.

The candidate will be responsible for TE/PE strategy, directing and coordinating activities of the group to design, manufacture, and develop ATE test hardware and software to support high-volume production, ensuring word class products quality, including production control and yield improvement initiatives.

Areas of focus and key responsibilities (include, but not limited to): 

  • Build and manage PE/TE team
  • Definition and implementation of test strategies for high-speed complex mix-signal ICs in close collaboration with Design and Quality teams
  • NPI activities including characterization, qualification and productization at the right cost and quality of company IC products for tier-1 customers, including Automotive
  • Lead design of ATE HW and SW using internal resources and external contractors, including development and release of Characterization and Production test programs, supporting of mass production ramp
  • Support and drive DFM/DFT initiatives 
  • Maintenance and improvement of production test setups, test program changes for quality and DPPM improvement; test time reduction during product lifetime
  • Define and establish Product Engineering systems and methodologies to support efficient manufacturing and high-quality product deliveries to tier-1 customers, including Automotive
  • Production control, maverick lots analysis and release, yield monitoring and yield improvement
  • Support RMA and FA activities, working close with QA and Design teams
  • Mentor, guide, and train junior staff members
  • Travel up to 20% 

Required Background

  • BS/MS in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Good understanding and hand on experience of all aspects of complex high-speed mix-signal SoC production test programs development and production ramp-up, using ATE (CP and FT)
  • Hands on experience with advanced test platforms of Teradyne (UltraFLEX) and/or Advantest (V93K)
  • Experience with Automotive products NPI to mass production, including adaptive testing, DPAT/PPAT, spatial algorithms for outlier detection, etc.
  • SYL/SBL setting and control
  • Experience with 16nm and below fab technologies
  • Good understanding of all aspects of WLCSP testing; ability to define, bring up and productize vertical probe cards with few thousand pins
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques and tools (JMP, Galaxy, others)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
