The Silicon Validation team at SiMa is involved in the silicon bring-up, silicon functional validation, debug and engineering support for’s MLSoC™. 


Job Description

As the MLSoC Silicon Validation & Power Engineer, you will:

  • Participate in the Silicon bring-up, silicon functional validation, power test and relevant automation development and Total Dynamic Power (TDP) measurements 
  • Responsible for MLSoC assigned features or interfaces bring-up, development of post silicon validation content and automation
  • Responsible for MLSoC TDP data collection across various corner parts to estimate TDP accurately.
  • Provide silicon debug and engineering support for’s MLSoC™
  • Working  closely with the MlSoC Hardware and Boards teams.  


Required Background:

  • BS/MS in CS (Computer Science)/EE (Electrical Engineering) with 4-8 years of experience in silicon bring-up, automation and validation preferably SoC or CPU silicon 
  • Experience with lab set-up, bring-up and silicon validation methodology
  • Expertize and protocol knowledge of bring-up and validation of any one of the interface:  DDR or PCIe or Ethernet (1G/10G)
  • Knowledge of Phy bringup, initialization and debug is a plus
  • Proficiency in C programming, Bare Metal O.S development, Perl/Python scripting 
  • Skill set for silicon debug, using lab equipments and working with boards as needed 
  • Good programming, debug and problem solving skill
