Job Description

SiMa.ai is looking for a technical sales engineer to join our team to drive sales activities in North America for our leading machine learning software and semiconductor company. Sales tasks include researching the markets that SiMa.ai serves and identifying and prioritizing target customers, contacting new customers to introduce them to SiMa.ai and win designs, providing sales support to existing customers to ensure an effortless ramp to production revenue while expanding SiMa.ai’s penetration within the customers, revenue and design win forecasting, meeting / exceeding revenue and design win goals, pricing negotiations, and all other facets of sales to win business and drive revenue. 

 

Sales Scope and Key Responsibilities

  • Identify sales opportunities
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers
  • Pricing and contract negotiations
  • Guide customers through various steps of the sales pipeline process
  • Provide feedback on customer needs and inputs for future product development
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs

 

Required Background

  • English language is a must with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BS in computer science or electrical engineering with 5+ years of sales and business development experience
  • Experience with customer engagements and ability to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively with customers
  • Experience communicating with hardware and software groups
  • Experience selling into robotics, surveillance, autonomous systems and automotive markets or vision applications
  • Nice to have:
    • Understanding of embedded processor systems and architectures
    • Understanding of ML solutions for the cloud or embedded applications
