Field & Channel Marketing Manager - France

Who we are looking for:


We need a Field & Channel Marketing Professional who will be responsible for developing and executing highly effective field and channel marketing programs to build awareness, drive demand, create leads, and build pipeline in France. This position will work closely with the sales team as well as EMEA leadership team to help achieve pipeline and bookings targets. This includes understanding target segments, planning and executing activities including events, campaigns, account specific plays, and leveraging customer and partner (VAR, Distributor, Alliance, Service Provider) relationships in the French region.

You will be based in a metro area of France, and travel within the region to support the execution of field marketing activities.  You will report to the Director of EMEA Marketing who is located in London.

What you will do (aka the Responsibilities):

  • Create, and manage all field and channel marketing strategies and program plans for France in collaboration with the director of sales for France, regional sales managers (RSMs) and major account executives
  • Plan and execute field marketing activities that support the French marketing plan and sales strategy providing clear and demonstrable ROI
  • Build and execute joint marketing programs, from concepts to execution that engage resellers’ customers, build awareness, generate qualified leads, and drive new business
  • Plan for a creative mix of activities, online and offline, raising the bar, ensuring that the Silver Peak brand gets mindshare
  • Participate in regular marketing and sales reviews – present impact of marketing efforts on sales pipeline, identify gaps in strategy, and revise marketing strategies to fill gaps
  • Manage local field marketing budgets and align program investment with business goals
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance (leads and pipeline) against forecasts and past performance.  Apply teachings to increase success of future marketing programs
  • Lead projects by teaming up with other members of the wider organization, agencies and partners

Your Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years in a field marketing role, ideally in the networking industry
  • Deep understanding of the IT landscape, personas involved and what works to drive pipeline in France
  • Channel background with a history of partner program development and joint marketing
  • Experience and track record of building field marketing plans that yield higher than average pipeline
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
