Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic Director of Marketing Operations who will lead the Marketing Operations function integrating strategic insight, processes, technology and metrics to help run a marketing organization that is highly aligned with company strategy and outcomes. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of business, marketing and operations acumen, leadership agility and communication skills with a passion for data, metrics and reporting/analytics.   You will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

What you will do (aka the Responsibilities):

  • Inform tactical and strategic decisions through analytics and predictive modeling
  • Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation, flow and data management within marketing and to and from sales
  • Actively monitor, analyze, measure and report on the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity as well as make recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain an executive dashboard and regularly prepare slides for CEO staff and the board on marketing performance
  • Oversee Silver Peak’s marketing technology stack, systems and processes on a global basis
  • Manage lead management processes and metrics, lead scoring, nurture, campaign tracking, marketing automation systems, database health, targeting and segmentation plans and alignment with sales operations
  • Benchmark against best-in-breed marketers

Your Education, Experience & Certification:

  • 10+ years in marketing or sales operations, ideally in the tech B2B industry
  • Experience and track record of building and running highly sophisticated and scalable marketing operations and technology environments
  • Formed and led highly functioning teams (your team as well as cross functional)
  • Experience managing, monitoring, and enforcing SLAs for lead routing
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to create business results in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Certification or relevant experience in Marketo, SFDC, BI and ABM systems etc. preferred
