Internal Channel Account Manager (Bilingual ENG/FRE)

We are looking for an Internal Channel Account Manager who has a high-level of energy, a demonstrable track record of sales success in an internal sales role, a strong technical understanding and can work with business partners to create real opportunities with mid-market and enterprise account prospects. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, self-starter who can identify influencers and key decision makers within partners and accounts. You will play a critical role in prospecting, expanding business opportunities and working closely with our channel partners to provide a high level of service.  We expect you to have the drive to achieve ambitious goals, and yet work with the team to streamline operational excellence. 

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and manage inbound leads (lead to opportunity) from non-named accounts
  • Qualify Partner Deal registration and proactively engage partner to see what next steps are planned, quotes required, customer engagement needed etc.
  • Coordinate all in-bound deal registrations and pass to appropriate sales person
  • Maintain partner managed opportunities accurately in SFDC
  • Respond to all incoming leads from the partner community
  • Promote new partner acquisition and onboarding through inbound partner leads
  • Provide partner portal, deal registration and certification support as requested
  • Evangelize approved partner programs and incentives to ensure effective partner enablement in tandem with distribution
  • Work with Distributors to support Partners in deal closure within their assigned region
  • Inform distributors and partners about incentives, programs and tools and manage partner applications/certifications
  • Support the quotation process where appropriate and manage the deal registration and partner onboarding process
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships within distributors and partners organizations
  • Work with Distributors to recruit VARs (target driven) and re-engage dormant VARs to create incremental pipeline
  • Support CAMs on an ad hoc basis, as needed
  • Support marketing-initiated activities with partners; e.g. call-outs
  • Ad hoc sales support activities as required 

Requirements:

  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota, penetrating net-new business, heavy prospecting
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn Silver Peak’s technology stack
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize various sales-related activities and fluently adapt to shifting priorities. A self-motivator and self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment, energy, and integrity, providing insight and methods improving on established processes.
  • Experience with contact management and sales tools, such as SalesForce.com, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Discover.Org, Detective and MEDDIC
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and organizational skills
  • Must be fluent in English and French 

Experience: 

  • BA/BS Degree Preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Development, Specialist or Inside Sales role
