The Role

We are seeking a Senior Segment Outbound Marketing Manager – an experienced semiconductor marketer with exceptional Industrial IoT messaging skills to join the IoT Industrial & Commercial Business Unit (I&C BU).

The I&C BU is P&L responsible for the business covered by our market segments: Smart Cities, Industrial & Commercial Infrastructure. In this role with the Business Marketing team of the I&C BU, the Senior Segment Outbound Marketing Manager will be instrumental for our marketing activities by owning, driving, and facilitating the segment marketing activities to aid demand creation in alignment with the BU strategy.

To be successful in this position you come from the semiconductor industry with years of marketing engineering experience within industrial segments e.g., industrial automation, smart city applications or commercial infrastructures. You are an expert in connecting dots from the problems our customers are trying to solve, to the value propositions of our products and services contributing to the customer solution solving these problems.

You will work closely with global marketing, BU segment & product marketing managers to coordinate and support marketing content based on customers case studies, segment applications, technology, and product positioning.

Responsibilities

  • I&C Business Unit representative to drive and lead segment marketing activities
  • Drive marketing programs to position the competitive advantage for the business unit strategy and segments product portfolio
  • Collaborate with segment managers, product managers and product marketing managers to continuously improve our competitive advantages
  • Provide metrics, analysis, evaluation and direction for market positioning, value propositions, and differentiation of the marketing programs to support funnel creation
  • Leverage segment expertise, collaborate with segment managers to increase awareness and value-add by aligning with global marketing campaigns that contributes to product positioning and messaging
  • Key partner to global marketing and product marketing to ensure program delivery
  • Support content for use case scenarios, services, and infrastructure within segment applications
  • Collaborate with global marketing to process leads through salesforce, marketo and leadspace
  • Work with sales and segment managers to create content for customer success stories, co-marketing activities, webinars, podcast, and tradeshows

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience from the semiconductor industry with responsibilities within segment/product marketing, business development, or strategic sales
  • 8+ years of experience with wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee/Thread and/or Proprietary Sub-GHz
  • 5+ years of experience from smart city, industrial IoT or commercial building industries
  • 5+ years of experience with product positioning and messaging
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration
  • Strong relationship builder and industry influencer
  • Proficient in English communication with excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Expert user of PowerPoint and years of experience in creating powerful presentations
  • Ability to travel 1-2 times per year to the United States or European sites
  • Ability to spend 1-3 evenings per week on virtual meetings with cross-functional members
