2020 Internship (SG) - Validation Engineering

In this role you will participate in validating full cycle the design of a SOC, including silicon characterization. Other activities include working on standards based communication protocols, pre-compliance testing and support the applications engineering team in developing hardware and firmware for MCU starter kits.
What you'll be doing:
- Requirements analysis.
- System modelling and Prototyping.
- Configure test benches for design validation.
- Develop Python modules for automated IC bench characterization.
- Silicon characterization data collection and analysis.
- Generate technical documentation (Implementation Notes, Application Notes, Test Plans, Code Reuse).
Who we are looking for:
An undergraduate student or graduate student who major in Electrical & System Engineering, available to do industrial attachment for min. 20 weeks. You need to have good understanding of microcontrollers and PCB level. You need to be passionate about embedded systems and able to develop programs in C and Python as well as good algorithms implementation. Ideally, you have good understanding of standard serial communication protocols (ex. UART, I2C, SPI, USB)
