Position summary

The Client Services Representative (CSR) on the Sales Operations & Support Team serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, providing front-line client support and operational sales assistance. This role is responsible for managing client inquiries, supporting quoting and order processing, maintaining CRM data integrity, and ensuring a seamless client experience across the sales lifecycle. The CSR partners closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Service Delivery to drive efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction. This role focuses on operational execution and client support and does not carry sales quota or revenue ownership.

 

What will you do in this role?

Client Support & Post-Sale Administration

  • Serve as the point of contact for assigned clients, including those without a dedicated sales representative
  • Coordinate support for a portfolio of clients by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting ongoing account needs
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships through timely, professional, and client-focused communication to support satisfaction and retention
  • Deliver license keys, product access details, and post-sale documentation to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support renewal preparation and coordination
  • Assist with administrative components of upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Document all client communications and internal updates within CRM or ticketing systems

 

Sales Support (Pre-Sale & Deal Execution)

  • Monitor and manage incoming sales support requests
  • Prepare and manage quotes, including pricing inputs and product availability validation
  • Prepare and assemble client proposals by populating approved templates, incorporating pricing and scope details, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all content
  • Create, update, and manage opportunity records while maintaining data integrity across all CRM records, including accounts, contacts, opportunities, and revenue data
  • Coordinate vendor/distributor pricing requests and follow-ups
  • Route deals for internal approvals and track approval status
  • Track deal progress, proactively identify delays, and facilitate timely execution of next steps
  • Coordinate internal handoffs from sales to service/delivery teams to support a smooth transition into fulfillment
  • Confirm all required deal details, documentation, and approvals are complete and aligned prior to order processing

 

Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Convert approved quotes into sales orders for processing
  • Validate order accuracy, including SKUs, quantities, pricing, and terms prior to submission
  • Track order and fulfillment status through completion, proactively communicate exceptions or delays, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of any issues

 

Vendor & Program Coordination

  • Submit key sales opportunities for vendor deal registration and track approval status
  • Support the execution of partner funding and incentive programs (e.g. Microsoft CPOR, pre-sales funding claims), including data collection, submission, and status tracking
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to vendor programs and transactions

 

Operational Support & Process Excellence

  • Monitor shared queues and facilitate timely triage, assignment, and resolution of requests
  • Maintain and update process documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal workflows, systems, and evolving industry standards and best practices
  • Perform routine CRM data validation and cleanup to support pipeline visibility and reporting accuracy
  • Identify and contribute to process improvement opportunities and workflow optimization 
  • Support additional operational and administrative activities aligned to the sales and client support functions as needed

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, or inside sales environments required; experience supporting a portfolio of client accounts is a plus
  • Ability to respond to client inquiries or needs and coordinate or escalate opportunities as appropriate
  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365 Sales, or similar)
  • Experience with ConnectWise or similar sales order processing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work and achieve established results with limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the pay range for this role is $30/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
