Position summary

Reporting to the Line of Business Manager, the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Business Analyst (BA) will partner with the client and internal team to identify and implement RPA use cases to improve consistency and recoup capacity. You will develop a working knowledge of the multiple systems used by the client, support elicitation sessions to understand specific business processes proposed for automation, develop detailed system requirements, and support rollout to the client.

 

What will you do in this role?

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to support feasibility analysis of proposed RPA use cases.
  • Facilitate detailed requirements elicitation sessions with cross-functional teams to document current-state processes and define standardized “to-be” processes for automation.
  • Translate approved business requirements into detailed system requirements for RPA development.
  • Develop clear process documentation, including workflows, business rules, and exception handling scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with the RPA Developer to clarify requirements, answer functional questions, and validate solution design.
  • Develop and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including creation of test cases, coordination of business testers, and tracking of defects to resolution.
  • Support solution demonstrations, end-user training sessions, and rollout communications.
  • Provide post-implementation user support and assist with issue triage and enhancement identification.
  • Conduct follow-up user sessions to gather feedback, monitor adoption, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with the Project Manager and development team to maintain and prioritize the RPA backlog.

 

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or technology delivery.
  • Bachelor's Degree required 
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust 
  • Experience documenting business processes and translating requirements into functional specifications.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Familiarity with RPA platforms or automation concepts preferred.
  • Experience supporting UAT and end-user training.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a structured project environment.
  • Understanding of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) helpful

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $80,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
