Position Summary: The position of Content Marketing Manager, within The Agency at Sikich, will be responsible for creating a wide mix of content to help clients better communicate their brand value and showcase their expertise. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for writing compelling and clear content for different channels and audiences, as well as planning and managing content projects from start to finish.         
        
Essential Job Duties:        
  • Lead content strategy and development for B2B client accounts.
  • Translate complex material into engaging content.
  • Map out comprehensive content ecosystems for clients that align with their business goals.    
  • Analyze data to assess the impact of content efforts, refine strategy and report to stakeholders.     
  • Collaborate with a dynamic marketing team on B2B client accounts where content strategy and development is a central piece of the clients’ marketing programs.
  • Responsible for creating a wide variety of content such as:
    • Blog posts, white papers, bylined articles for media outlets, social media content, marketing emails, and website copy.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:        
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field
  • Five (5) plus years of experience in content marketing and development. Experience within a PR or marketing agency required.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
    • Candidate will need to submit three (3) writing samples, with the application, to showcase their breadth of experience. Must include at least one (1) long-form (i.e., 500+ word) piece of content, in addition to, at least one (1) of the following: a social media campaign (include multiple posts), marketing email, or website copy.
  • Experience creating and managing content on social media platforms (LinkedIn preferred).
  • Experience creating content in the life sciences or health care industry is a plus.
  • Adept at working directly with clients and a variety of stakeholders to determine strategy and execute projects against tight timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills; experienced in presenting recommendations and reports to clients and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage a project from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to new topics and industries to align with client and prospect needs.
  • Curiosity about martech tools and ability to identify opportunities to use technology to improve client results and Agency efficiency.
  • Proficient with simple graphic creation and editing (use of tools such as Canva and Photoshop).
