Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Lead Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and a deep understanding of the NetSuite platform. This role is crucial for our team, as it will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions to meet our business needs. This person must be able to lead a team of developers, collaborate with the project team and client, and deliver high-quality solutions.
What will you do in this role?
- Problem Solving: demonstrated analytical skills, creative thinking, and a drive for continuous improvement. Ability to independently diagnose and resolve integration problems.
- Design & Development: Architect, develop, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions, including RESTlets, Suitelets, User Event Scripts, and Scheduled Scripts. Able to prioritize and deliver across multiple projects.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with clients and functional consultants to analyze business processes and technical requirements for customizations and integration projects, translating them into actionable development tasks and technical specifications.
- Technical Documentation: Produce and review documentation, including code comments, technical specifications, and end-user guides.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the stability, performance, and security of all custom NetSuite solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve defects proactively.
- Lead & Mentorship: Direct and oversee the work of other developers to deliver per specifications. Perform code reviews, assist in troubleshooting, and mentor developers to build technical and consulting skill sets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and client teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure integrations adhere to best practices for data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including user authentication, authorization, and audit tracking.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of NetSuite platform updates, third-party integration tools, and industry trends. Advocate for innovative solutions to improve performance and scalability.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience.
- Proven expertise in SuiteScript development, with a strong portfolio of projects involving SuiteScript 2.0 and 2.1.
- Extensive experience with NetSuite customizations, including custom records, forms, fields, and workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team lead, managing project timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision, and mentoring developers.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite's data model and best practices for customization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with iPaaS or other middleware tools, such as Celigo.
- Exposure to BI reporting and SQL
- NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certification is a plus.
- Experience with other programming languages or web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $125,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
