Transaction Advisory Services – Associate Remote – Full-time

Sikich’s TAS team members are educated in finance, accounting and related fields.  The TAS team assists clients with buy and sell side due diligence, quality of earnings reports and various financial consulting projects for M&A.

Responsibilities  

  • Assist in identifying risks and core financial due diligence, assessing strengths and weaknesses of the business against industry benchmarks, and supporting evaluations of transactions of client business and financial strategies to discuss with target management
  • Consult financial statement information (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow and other reports) and provide thoughtful business observations and conclusions
  • Consult and support TAS team members in the development of high-level reports and client presentations to support business strategy and need
  • Active participation in team meetings, calls, client relations and serve as secondary point of contact for clients when needed
  • Ability to service multiple client engagements simultaneously 
  • Actively involved in building and maintaining client relationships and other business development opportunities

 

Requirements  

  • 1+ years in audit related work or financial due diligence
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP

 

Preferred Skills

  • Active CPA certification or in the process of obtaining one
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Ability to flourish and be effective in fast-paced settings
  • Flexibility to work as a team member and as a single contributor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
