2nd Shift (Weekday Nights) - T410 Machine Operator

2nd Shift Hours:

Non-Peak
Mon - Wed, 4pm - 4am

Peak
Mon - Wed, 4pm - 4am
Thurs, 4pm - 4am every other week

*Flexibility with hours required, as work during other hours/shifts may be needed during peak seasons

Any digital press experience is required, but we will train the selected candidate on the HP experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and running an HP T410 digital press
  • The selected individual will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  
  • Operating/troubleshooting and maintaining T410 digital roll fed press and digital bindery equipment
  • Producing quality printed materials
  • Communicating with Managers, Leads, and other production associates


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience running color digital printing equipment, with a preference for HP Indigo or HP-T400 series. Other digital press experience is encouraged to apply.
  • Must meet the physical requirements for the position which includes lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, bending/stooping  
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
  • Mechanical aptitude and skills to perform adjustments and maintenance on mechanical systems.
  • Good organizational skills maintaining 5S standards.
  • A methodical "procedure-oriented" approach to tasks.
  • An affinity for detail for quality control purposes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics and pneumatic symbols.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation

Education:
  • Vocational/Technical school diploma or certificate preferred.
  • Mechanical course completion suggested.

Experience:
  • HP t400 series experience, in line or roll to roll experience.
  • Experience in basic computer operation.
  • Experience working in a fast paced production environment.
