Description

The Marketing Platform Lifetouch Data Engineer will have a solid data warehousing background and the desire to work with a team of Data Engineers. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing business team, campaign developers, campaign operations, and data warehouse engineers to identify, prioritize, implement, fine tune, and troubleshoot Marketing Data Infrastructure.  This person will also support the building of data pipelines (ETLs) to make data available in both cloud and on-premise systems.  Finally, this person will create, enhance, and adhere to strict development standards for both themselves and their team.

 

Role:

  • Support migration of data to AWS cloud for Shutterfly Marketing
  • Primarily support Lifetouch Data needs for Shutterfly Marketing.
  • Support the building of Marketing ETLs for the Operations and Analytics teams
  • Build data pipelines in AWS ( S3, EC2, EMR, Redshift ) & Talend
  • Monitor and Maintain Marketing ETLs
  • Work efficiently with Marketing Stakeholders
  • Migrate Marketing ETLs to new platforms, with new services, on new systems

 

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5 years work experience
  • Experience working with large scale Data Warehousing environments
  • Experience with industry standard ETL tools, e.g. Talend
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Automation Studio
  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience with Oracle SQL
  • Proficiency with Unix
