Shutterfly is looking for a Growth Innovation Channel Manager to join our first-ever growth hacking team. In this role you'll bring your deep social and mobile marketing experience to lead channel initiatives which fundamentally change the way we discover, engage, and acquire new customers at scale.  The Growth Innovation Channel Manager will:

  • Partner with the multi-disciplinary Growth Hacking team to launch new campaigns tests and initiatives through a variety of digital mediums, especially Social and other mobile-first channels
  • Collaborate with channel-specific marketing teammates (email, social media, SEM, mobile, display and others) to identify areas for growth, launch tests in market and determine recommendation for scale
  • Translate ideas into actionable tests that deliver conversions and revenue against LTV/CAC goals
  • Test and optimize marketing tactics for customer acquisition and conversion rates across various points of customer journey
  • Collaborate with other functions and departments to determine the right metrics to pursue and launch tests and
  • Bringing traditional and creative ideas how to grow those KPIs and A/B testing those ideas
  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with cross-functional partners and leadership (Product, marketing, top management) to present results and make our products more user-centric
  • Driving traffic to various customer experiences including website, app, landing pages, social media, blog and product detail pages
  • Understanding conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and hacks and being able to apply CRO hacks to any businesses


  • 4-6 years of integrated digital marketing experience especially social media channels including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat
  • Strong background in planning and executing in other key digital channels like Search, Mobile Display, ASA, UAC, etc.
  • Direct hands-on experience in advertising platforms and campaigning including linking, tracking, and reporting
  • Budget, forecasting and pacing management with daily optimization and management of campaigns
  • Working on a lean startup process to develop winning, scalable approaches to customer acquisition
  • Must be curious about analytics and business KPIs and how that affects the bottom line, new customer growth
  • Working across the various sales dimensions (Audience Targeting, Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral Revenue)
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • A/B Testing and Data Analytics experience, ideally with tools such as Optimizely
  • Knowledge of direct response and branding channels
