Reporting to the Chief of Staff for the Office of the CEO, the newly created role of Chief of Staff for Spoonflower will be the primary liaison between the recently acquired Spoonflower business and the Shutterfly family of brands. The ideal candidate will be focused on a successful business integration and supporting the Spoonflower creative marketplace for continued growth and scale. This is a great opportunity to expand into different facets of business leadership, M&A integration and overall business transformation in a key chief of staff capacity. You will work closely with the Spoonflower General Manager, the leadership teams of both Spoonflower and Shutterfly along with various other executive stakeholders. With a strategic mindset, you will possess strong communication, leadership, project management, and organizational skills.  We will need you to be hands on and roll up your sleeves while managing cross functional projects in a fast-paced proactive environment.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Ensure a successful integration of Shutterfly’s recent acquisition, Spoonflower, by driving the end-to-end process delivery of all of Spoonflower’s deliverables into the Shutterfly and Snapfish brands
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, HR, Legal, IT, Operations, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Finance to drive integrations and improvements supporting all business deliverables
  • Thoughtful implementation of connection points between the Spoonflower team and the other Shutterfly brands’ team to help position the business for growth and scale while maintaining a balance of independence and integration and help develop a sense of belonging for the team as part of a larger organization
  • Translate project status updates, data, and preliminary ideas into fully thought through presentations for various levels including the Executive Team, External Partners, and the broader Shutterfly company
  • Responsible for building a template of success for future acquisitions


What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in corporate development, consulting, finance, or program management roles with demonstrated track record of leading complex projects or integrations within technology companies
  • Strategic thinker who can see the whole picture. Executing and delivering on short-term objectives while remaining focused on achieving the long-term goals
  • Executive presence and ability to influence executives and broad organization while driving change
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships quickly, displaying strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing demands, juggle different priorities and prioritize for others while being flexible to handle periods of heavy work demand
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience with a rapidly scaling technology/software business is a plus 
  • Master’s or bachelors or equivalent experience preferred
