We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Corporate Development and Investor Relations:

. This role is highly visible, where you will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic opportunities across the organization. You will also be a key liaison between Shutterfly executives, Apollo Global Management, and the investment community.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who has strong communication skills and business acumen, the ability to lead initiatives, and has a solid understanding of financial concepts and the capital markets.

What You'll Do Here:

Corporate Development (Mergers & Acquisitions)

  • Drives and supports the entire M&A process, including the evaluation, analysis, due diligence, and execution of potential opportunities
  • Contributes thought leadership around M&A strategy, and opportunities and segments to pursue
  • Manages relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external parties, such as investment banks and Apollo

Investor Relations

  • Drives and supports the quarterly earnings process, including the preparation of investor presentations, earnings scripts, and Q&A
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to determine key narratives and messaging to the investment community
  • Manages relationships with investors and prepare executives for investor meetings


  • Conducts market research, monitors competitive landscape, and develops an informed perspective on the ecosystem
  • Performs ad-hoc projects supporting other business units or functions across the company
  • Enhances corporate development and investor relations processes
  • Coaches more junior team members

The Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or equivalent experience
  • MBA preferred
  • 10 or more years of experience in Finance with an emphasis in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a similar field
  • Experience with capital markets or e-commerce is a plus
  • Experience managing relationships with senior executives, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to both lead and support, whether it is leading a project or driving independent analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and valuation methodologies
