Overview:

Snapfish is seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our in-house design team. As the creative leader for the Global Snapfish brand, you will work closely with our VP Creative, GM of Snapfish, Integrated Marketing team, and channel owners to elevate our design language and better connect with customers through engaging, action-oriented, and brand-driven storytelling across all marketing channels.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading design teams and systems for ecommerce brands, with deep experience managing CRM and web channels. You will also partner cross-functionally across strategy, concepting, and design, ensuring our brand and product stories are consistently and compellingly told. As the senior member of our creative and marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping the Snapfish brand, design philosophy, and creative innovation. You will also oversee our global Snap International business, including teams and initiatives in the UK and ANZ, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence across international markets.

Job Description:

  • Lead the design teams in strategy, concepting, design, presentation, and handoff of best-in-class brand and product storytelling that moves both customers and the business.
  • Oversee creative strategy and execution for Snap International in the UK and ANZ, ensuring alignment with global brand standards while tailoring messaging, tone, and visual storytelling to resonate with regional audiences.
  • Raise the overall design bar by elevating our brand style, process, and methodology across your channels and the broader creative team.
  • Collaborate across teams to scale a modular design system for CRM and Web, driving efficiency gains, improving throughput, and enabling regional expansion.
  • Oversee the ideation, planning, and creative direction of seasonal campaigns, including photography and video execution in our in-house studio, ensuring visual storytelling aligns with brand and business goals.
  • Maintain a high level of creative quality and consistency across all channels.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the brand, categories, and products to apply across all creative work.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance creative output, streamline workflows, and push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
  • Articulate creative intent and proactively coordinate with partners and stakeholders to bring great ideas to life.
  • Actively participate in project kickoffs, asking insightful questions to gain detail, clarification, and alignment with Marketing Partners.
  • Mentor a team of designers to further their skillsets and career paths, providing opportunities to grow into future leaders of Snapfish.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Designer / Creative Director, with retail/ecommerce experience a strong plus.
  • 4+ years of experience leading and mentoring multiple designers across large-scale projects.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use insights to refine creative strategies.
  • Hands-on experience building and leading design systems for Web and CRM.
  • Experience with modern design, productivity, and workflow tools (Figma, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Strong ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading full-funnel campaign concepting, presentation, and implementation.
  • Proven ability to direct and oversee campaign photography, including studio shoots and post-production.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and a passion for exploring how technology can elevate design.
  • Experience overseeing international creative operations, particularly in the UK and ANZ.
  • A great design eye and aesthetic that elevates the Snapfish brand.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$173,250-$204,500]

Connecticut and New York: [$173,250-$187,000]

Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$173,250-187,000.00]

Nevada: [$135,500-$187,000]

Maryland and New Jersey: [$155,750-$187,000]

Hawaii : [$135,500 –$162,750]
