Associate Manager, Email Planning and Analytics

Shutterfly is seeking a highly motivated and action-oriented Associate Manager, reporting to the Marketing Manager on the Email Planning & Analytics team. This role will own planning and analytics for our Tiny Prints and cross brand Email programs, as well as supporting planning and analytics for the Shutterfly Email channel.

In this role, the Associate Manager will manage the development of our quarterly Tiny Prints and cross brand campaign plans, working with key stakeholders to develop promotions and high-level campaign strategy. He/she will also be responsible for creating the quarterly forecast for these two brands, as well as monitoring campaign performance and overall program KPIs and trends, which will be used for future planning and revenue goals. In addition, this person will analyze Shutterfly campaign performance, investigate key business questions, and provide Shutterfly planning support.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create the quarterly Tiny Prints and Lifetouch promo plans and determine email cadence.
  • Manage quarterly Tiny Prints and Shutterfly to Lifetouch forecasts, as well as reporting out on performance during post-quarter business reviews.
  • Develop and share out reports to clearly communicate Shutterfly campaign performance on a biweekly basis. Identify trends and draw insights to help guide future planning.
  • Partner with manager in developing the promo and email plans for Shutterfly
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics projects.
  • Provide recommendations to strengthen the email program and campaign strategy, as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years of consumer marketing and/or analytics experience. Email marketing experience a plus.
  • Analytical skills; able to leverage data to identify trends and performance drivers and clearly communicate results and implications.
  • Skilled in Excel; comfortable manipulating data and creating basic reporting dashboards.
  • Experience with basic forecasting models a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise documents and lead cross-functional meetings effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines while paying attention to detail.
  • Independent self-starter with a results-oriented mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams
