Shutterfly is looking for an experienced marketer to lead brand marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels for the BorrowLenses business, expanding strong performance marketing to a wider strategy.

BorrowLenses is the Shutterfly brand where professional photographers and videographers come to rent premium gear online. BorrowLenses operates as an independent business unit within Shutterfly with its own marketing team and acquisition strategy / goal.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager is focused on creating and implementing marketing strategies to expand mid and upper funnel awareness and aid consideration with photographers and videographers.

This role will work closely with the rest of the BorrowLenses marketing team to evolve the existing brand identity, story, and message while developing and overseeing / executing campaigns to further share the brand across channels such as digital and traditional media, partner, PR, social / influencer and event.

This is an exciting role, helping drive brand and growth across an entire, mid-market business with enterprise level resources and support. The ideal candidate has experience in a similar mid-sized rental, marketplace, or e-commerce business.  

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop mid and upper funnel campaigns to increase awareness with key customer segments, identifying impactful messaging, coordinating creative / managing outside agencies, and measuring success to adjust or expand efforts.
  • Partner with the Acquisition Marketing Manager and CRM specialist on overall acquisition and retention marketing plans, investments and results.
  • Partner with the Video Marketing Manager and Merchandising / Marketing Manager on content marketing, owning the content plan and measurement.
  • Own the brand identity and story, working with the marketing team and creative partners to ensure a consistent execution across the business.
  • Support the Marketing Director and work with business leaders to drive a consistent, on-brand customer experience across the website, email / SMS, shipment, and retail touchpoints.
  • Present to business leadership on brand metrics, seasonal / competitive changes, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for wider marketing strategy, campaign planning and with Product to improve acquisition campaign success and / or analytics / reporting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Brand marketing position.
  • 3-5+ years of related knowledge across digital and traditional marketing such as social, PR, event content or similar channels.
  • Strong strategic and execution skills including hands on experience.
  • Proficient with Social Media Google Analytics or related analytic tools, Excel
  • Any experience with or interest in photography or videography is always a strong plus!
