Brand Partnerships Manager

Shutterfly, Inc is looking for an experienced marketing manager who is energized in the creation of engaging creative partnerships across our Shutterfly Consumer brands that fuel our ambition to be the champion of makers and creators in the making of hyper-personal things.
Reporting to the Director, Brand Partnerships, this role will join our newly created brand partnerships team to imagine and execute brand partnerships that deliver thrilling marketing moments and meaningful collaborations propelling Shutterfly’s growth with new audiences and accelerating the transformation of our brand. This unique opportunity lets you spread your wings to dream of partnerships in all the spaces including product collaborations, licensing, IRL experiences, events, sponsorships and more.
Partnerships is a critical growth priority for Shutterfly, and this will be a role with high visibility to Shutterfly cross-functional teams and partner brands. The ideal candidate has experience growing and implementing brand-building partnerships in the entertainment, travel, theme park, technology, consumer goods and/or retail space. You should have experience in at least two of the following areas: product design, merchandising, licensing, product collaborations, experiential marketing, media strategy and/or brand marketing.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Identify, develop and implement partnerships with other brands that position Shutterfly as the champion of makers and creators
· Advance and execute all components of partnerships including negotiation, contracting, marketing campaign, media strategy, budgeting, measurement and reporting.
· Develop marketing/experience briefs that inspire internal, creative and media agency teams to bring partnerships to life
· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams including: product merchandising, Shutterfly.com, corporate partnerships, marketing, creative, brand, media, public relations, influencer, and social media to bring to life partnerships
· Maintain and grow relationships with brand partners, organizations, cross-functional teams and individuals

Love learning about the consumer, trends, and industry with ability to connect the dots to bring new opportunities to life
Willing to shape the role and be flexible to adapt scope of role based upon opportunistic business needs
Minimum of 10 years professional experience in the marketing or merchandising space
Previous experience in brand or strategic partnerships, licensing, ecommerce, merchandising and/or direct-to-consumer with lifestyle or consumer brands is desired
Strong network of potential partners that can elevate and enhance Shutterfly’s brand
Early adopter and user of new and big social platforms – TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter
Resourcefulness and ability to “hustle” and cultivate relationships with high-impact partners on behalf of brand
