Lifetouch is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager.  The Human Resources Manager provides both strategic and operational support aligned with business objectives to their designated corporate and operational client group(s).  The HRM consults with business management to provide HR expertise and to identify business needs in the areas of human capital management, including but not limited to organizational effectiveness, organizational design and development, relationship and change management, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, learning and development, succession planning, workforce analysis and talent management.  The HRM is the client group first point of contact for any HR related issue and ultimately accountable for HR deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic business partner to management, consulting on all areas of HR.   Align with HR Business Partner team, HR leadership team and Center of Excellence team members to ensure consistency of policies and procedures across the organization as well as in the HRBP client group.

  • Develop and maintain effective business partnership with management through timely and effective human resources support.
  • Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy; partner with key stakeholders to develop plans to bridge capability gaps.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and to shape a culture which inspires employees to achieve short term and long term business results.
  • Work with business units to translate business needs into HR requirements and working environment
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations; work with management and employees to ensure adequate resolution of issues.
  • Act as an internal consultant to leaders, managers, and employees providing coaching and advice on a range of organizational and change issues.
  • Uphold the values of the organization through effective communication and high standards of performance.
  • Develop and implement processes and guidelines that result in consistent policy interpretation and legal compliance.
  • Provide counsel to managers and supervisors dealing with a broad range of legal requirements including state and federal wage and hour laws and fair employment.
  • Administer policies and procedures that support the division and company philosophy, culture and strategic goals.
  • Provide direction and support to recruiting, selection and retention efforts of exempt and non-exempt staff.
  • Strategically partner with management for all human capital needs and initiatives including leadership development and talent management.
  • Facilitate total compensation programs and processes including annual merit review process, management incentive plan design and review, annual market analysis, job design and other retention initiatives.
  • Drive results oriented, performance management process within the client groups to ensure a consistent performance appraisal process and provide training, feedback and coaching to individuals conducting reviews.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all matters and safeguard confidential documents.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through research, planning and effective execution.
  • Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned


  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or a related field.  
  • SPHR/PHR certification is desired


  • 5 of more years experience in a generalist role involving: talent management, organizational design and development, leadership development, significant employee relations experience, compensation and change management
  • Experience working across multiple levels is strongly preferred
