What You'll Do Here:

  • Repair, trouble-shoot, assemble, test, modify, analyze, and maintain Lifetouch equipment such as camera equipment, computer systems, cables, sport systems, and lighting equipment as well as other miscellaneous equipment supported by Field Technical Services department.
  • Provide trouble shooting over the phone with Lifetouch internal field customers of Lifetouch camera and computer systems.
  • Help write process sheets for repairs, and for each assembly or have any assembly notes necessary added to the blueprint.
  • Recognize any problem an Assembler or repair person may have during the assembly process and eliminate the problem using fixtures or whatever means necessary.
  • Work with and make suggestions to Leads/ Supervisors that may create higher quality more functional assemblies.
  • May travel to other Lifetouch facilities for equipment installation, repair or training (< 5% of the time)

The Skills You'll Bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years of electronic schooling or equivalent work experience. 
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.), as well as Windows XP, 7, and 10
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work unusual hours at short notice - including OT, and lift up to 35 pounds
