Project Manager II
Description
Within the Shutterfly Strategic Development and Accounts team a Project Manager must track, monitor and coordinate platform and partner specific projects end to end, so that they are on time and within budget/resourcing while engaging stakeholders across functions of the organization.
Responsibilities
Track and manage the execution of projects within an overall program for key partners, across functions (both technical and non-technical) from design through to program close out. This position may require occasional travel.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Track projects and ensure they are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the partner, all stakeholders and Program Manager
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience
- 3+ Years of Project Management and Change Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or a related field
- PMP / PRINCE II Certification will be considered, but not required.
- Experience in internal or external change management consulting
- Experience on End to End process definition and implementation
- eCommerce or retail experience preferred
