The Director of Site Optimization will drive a diverse A/B testing roadmap across our website and mobile apps. In this role, you will guide our standards and processes around A/B testing and will play a key role in fostering a test and learn culture in the Shutterfly Consumer business. The ideal candidate has experience building or growing a mature experimentation program as well as experience managing teams and working across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Shutterfly Consumer experimentation program and testing team.
  • Set standards and processes for testing on the web and mobile app.
  • Prioritize and manage experimentation roadmap.
  • Evangelize experimentation to the organization and educate stakeholders on key concepts.
  • Establish experimentation program success metrics and monitor the performance of the program over time.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and/or testing and develop informed business recommendations to share with the team.

Requirements 

  • 7+ years of experience working in an analytics field with significant experience running experiments.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Proficiency in web analytics platforms and testing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Adobe Target (Test & Target), Google Analytics, Optimizely, Monetate, etc.
  • Basic understanding of statistics in the context of experimentation.
  • Adept at working in fast paced, highly cross-functional environments including customer facing technical development teams.
  • E-commerce experience a plus.
