The Business Analyst II will be responsible for consulting with and leading user departments and assisting in identifying information technology applications solutions. Organize and project manage business process improvement initiatives. Contribute by providing information on the trends, innovations and market changes in application development, software, utilities, etc. and recognized as the leading functional expert in daily business operations and procedures. Develop and present recommendations on next generation applications, techniques, methodologies, processes, and utilities.

Responsibilities

  • Critically evaluate and understand information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need.
  • Analysis, documentation, support, and testing of technologies for process improvements in addition to creating and maintaining documentation regarding business and system processes, technical specifications, test scripts and test results
  • Assisting in the development of enhancements and new connections based on understanding the flow of data through integrations within existing systems.
  • Ensure that all projects are properly documented, which includes a business case, business requirements, and implementation plan, maintaining document requirements for project managers and business owners.
  • Providing insight regarding prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
  • Document, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope.
  • Lead, implement and support disaster recovery framework, business continuity plans and technology including annual disaster recovery exercises with a continuous improvement mindset.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role including management small to medium projects using Agile methodolgies
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Query
  • Experience in ERP/Financial systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and or CRM preferred
  • Familiar with design, development and implementation lifecycle preferred
  • Experience with O365 - Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word
  • Jira experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and convey complex data insights.
